Comforma cushions or furniture

Our cushions and outdoor furniture made from soft Comforma fabric are ideal for use under a porch or canopy. It's the softest fabric in our collection, used in our cushions and as upholstery for various outdoor furniture. Comforma can withstand rain and is even water-repellent due to a special coating. However, it is advisable to store Comforma cushions or furniture indoors during prolonged rain or snow and in the winter months.

Why maintain Comforma cushions?

Store Comforma cushions in a dry space during prolonged rain, so they are not left outdoors all year. Comforma cushions do require some maintenance, but to extend their lifespan, it is recommended to treat the cushions twice a year to keep them resistant to dirt and water. This way, the cushions will remain beautiful and free of stains!

How to maintain your Comforma cushions?

For the best protection, we recommend treating your Comforma cushions at least twice a year. We advise doing this in the spring and fall. This prepares the cushions for a new season, and in the fall, the cushions will be protected from adverse weather conditions.

Required time: approximately 30 minutes

You'll need:

  • Fabric cleaner
  • Fabric protector
  • Dry soft brush
  • Sponge or soft scouring pad
  • Water

Clean your Comforma cushions

The first thing you should do to maintain your cushions is to clean them regularly. Remove loose dirt such as leaves, mud, green algae spores, and dust with a soft cloth. Blot a liquid stain with a dry, clean cloth.

Tip: If your set is placed under a tree, regularly check for any bird droppings on the furniture and remove them promptly to prevent them from settling in.

Treat your cushions with our Fabric Cleaner

Thanks to a dirt-repellent coating, stains won't penetrate the material, and mold has no chance. To renew the protective layer, spray the cushions with Soltex cleaner and allow it to sit for approximately 30 seconds. Dampen a sponge or soft scrubbing sponge and gently move it in a circular motion across the furniture. For stubborn stains, repeat the process until the stain vanishes.

Rinse your cushions with water

After treating the Comforma material with our Fabric Cleaner, thoroughly rinse the surface with water and let it air dry. Next, spray the cushions with Fabric Protector to reapply a coating that is resistant to dirt, grease, and water.

 Please note: Always ensure that your furniture is completely dry before covering it with a protective cover to prevent the formation of mold.

Protecting your outdoor furniture

After a delightful summer, when the temperature drops and you start to use your outdoor furniture less frequently, it's advisable to protect it using a high quality protective cover. This prevents damage caused by falling branches and leaves.
